Combat theft

Virtual Boatwatch

Let’s keep the harbour safe. Together.

How does the virtual boatwatch work?

By encouraging all members to report suspicious activity, to the BHA and to the Police when necessary. Whatever information you might have can be very useful to keep crime at bay. Boats, engines, equipment are all expensive and, make no mistake, criminals are at work all the time to steal these items from quiet harbours like ours.

How can I help?

By reporting any suspicious behaviour via the methods below and keeping an eye out for anything that doesn’t seem right. With nearly 600 members, if everyone keeps an eye out and reports anything untoward they will be helping the other members. Let’s keep the harbour safe. Together.
